Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Estimator with multifamily construction experience to prepare competitive bids, review plans, and support preconstruction efforts. Experience with takeoff software and commercial construction estimating preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily and commercial construction projects
- Review and analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Collaborate with project managers and preconstruction teams to develop winning proposals
- Track and maintain historical cost data to improve future estimate accuracy
Qualifications
- Experience in multifamily or commercial construction estimating
- Proficiency in takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar)
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
